Humana sucks - I can go to wal mart and get almost the identical services from their rx plan. I would have never never agreed to humanas services if i would have known i was going to fall into some kind of gap after only a few months of their services. It does not even make sense for anyone to agree to humanas plan. Read the small print and don't believe what the sales person is telling you. They must be in a really hard place lately cuz they sure got to me.. |

I have talked to represenitives on the phone and they only put you to another person. I was told about the change of coverage since July 2008 and I still don't have any information sent to me. I called again and they are going to send out another packet of information but I won't receive it for 7-14 days. I don't even have my payment book. I am a senior citizen and I would like to know what my premiums are going to be, I live on a limited budget. The Rep. told me that if my payment is not on time that they would cancel me. What kind of coverage is this if you don't have any information? I need to know now.
How can I say a good thing about humana if they don't cooperate with you. Very dissatisfied, and I haven't even paid for my first installment.. |

NOW THAT'S A 20% INCREASE IN THE MONTHLY RATE!
I'll be looking for another HSA insurance somewhere else...... |

I have had Humana for about 2 years. I used to be very happy with them. I had a new baby this fall and he was sick and needed to be admitted to the ICU. Humana has not paid on this claim and it is going on three months. Although they have all the medical records, I guess they are not sure that he needed to be in there. I guess they are way smarter than the doctors. Anyway they keep saying that they should have covered it and they are working on it. they haven't done anything. I have done everything they have asked but to no avail. |

Humana's health insurance sucks. They paid for a surgery and now are telling me the follow-up treatments are not related. Hello!! What do they think the term follow-up relates to??? Mind you this is AFTER one of their representatives told me to have the treatment and not worry about it because they (Humana) paid for the surgery so they would pay for the follow-up treatment. Never in my life have I heard anything as stupid as these people.. |

I'm stuck...my company for whatever reason chose Humana for their medical coverage (I'm sure cost had something to do with this) Humana is by far the worst insurance company I've ever encountered. They continuously deny claims that should clearly be covered per the terms in my company's coverage. This company has caused myself and wife constant stress and frustration when trying to get things like routine immunizations for my children covered. We've spent hours and hours on the phone with their reps which only create more frustration because of their inability to answer questions properly. Plainly, this insurance company sucks. The most recent is they denied a routine visit to my primary care physician saying "it was a chiropractor visit." Funny...my doctor is in the Humana network as a "Primary Care" with a "Family Practice." In the 10 months since I've had this insurance I've been on the phone with them at least 3-4 times per month....for hours. Humana sucks!. |

Humana has been my health insurance plan for the last three years. I was surprised to see how fast my enrollment to their scheme was done. When I gave the basic information they have asked for in the online form, they responded back with a list of plans and the deductibles for the various plans. I was able to customize the plan and the plan was entirely mine. You could know how happy I was when I got insurance plan for me and my family according to my expectations and dreams.. |
